Scenic overlook before going into the Badlands. What a wonderful day being able to see God's handiwork. We started the day in the Badlands. After a few hours, we stopped at the Wounded Knee Museum. We were at Wounded Knee sight 2 years ago. What an area of history. then we stopped at the Wall Drug Store in Wall, SD. Huge place. Anything and everything you want, you could find. Then off to the Rushmore Cave. What an experience! Really enjoyed it. We saw lilacs blooming along the road. Got a motel in Hill City for the night. Had a shower of rain after we got to our room. Wonderful day! Stayed cloudy most of the day.

We spent a lot of time at the Badlands today. Oh the wonderful handiwork of God! You really need to see it, to capture it.

After seeing this we thought it is no wonder the pioneers called it the Badlands--needing to travel through those "hills and mountains" to get west!! Very lovely tho to look at. Keep posting!! We are going with you every day!!
