Left Jackson, WY this morning and headed to Yellowstone. Still on 89N. On the way we saw a couple of sightings of elk-one group of at least 30. Also saw moose and bears. The closer we got to Yellowstone, the more snow there was. It was beautiful. They had 26 degrees when we got there. The sun was out and it was a beautiful day. Old Faithful was faithful and "did her thing" right on time. What a sight!. It goes up every 92 minutes. Small geysers along the road as we traveled. On the way out we saw deer, mountain goat. We also saw a large herd of big horn sheep, but couldn't get close enough to take pictures. The closer we came to Cody, WY, the terrain changed again to the big mountains of rock. Went through 3 tunnels that were cut through the rock. They didn't need to put up sides, it was the stone. we are staying in Cody, WY tonight.
When we left Yellowstone we were still on 89, then to 16/24E to Cody. Tomorrow is travel day again.
