Spending the day in St Augustine, FL 10/15

My dear husband put in a cage outside the jail. The Jail was completed in 1891. We really enjoyed our day. We learned so much history.

The Gallows at the Old Jail

We drank some of the water from the Fountain. It didn't taste the best, also had a smell to it.

Cross that Ponce de Leon and his men put down at the Fountain of Youth
We saw this large cross off in the distance from the Fort.
This Fort is one of the oldest standing structures in North merica. Spanish built it in 1672 to protect their empire in America. So much history in there.
